Setback for TVK Chief Vijay as Madras High Court Upholds ₹1.5 Crore Income Tax Penalty
TVK Chief Vijay had declared an income of ₹35.42 crore in his Income Tax Return (ITR) for the financial year 2015–16. However, the income received from the film Puli, amounting to ₹15 crore, was not included in the declaration.
