Due to the ongoing tense situation between India and Pakistan, the IPL match between Punjab and Delhi scheduled to be held in Dharamshala yesterday (May 8, 2025) was canceled.
Following this, many began to question whether the upcoming IPL matches would proceed as planned.
In this context, IPL Vice President Rajeev Shukla stated in an interview today (May 9, 2025) that all IPL matches scheduled for the next week have been canceled. He also added that a revised schedule will be announced only after discussions with stakeholders and obtaining approval from the government.
