The Election Commission has announced that elections for six Rajya Sabha seats from Tamil Nadu will be held on June 19.
The terms of the following members are set to end:
- Vaiko
- Anbumani Ramadoss
- M. Shanmugam
- R. Wilson
- M.M. Abdulla
- Chandrasekharan
Speculations suggest that this time, Vijay Prabhakaran may contest as part of the AIADMK alliance, while Kamal Haasan is likely to be fielded by the DMK alliance.
