Tamil superstar and TVK Chief Vijay’s much-anticipated final film, Jana Nayagan has been leaked online ahead of its theatrical release, sending shockwaves across the industry. In response, whole industry has expressed shock at the leak of Jana Nayagan and requesting for a strict action on whoever leaked the content.

Rajini condemned by tweeting ‘It is shocking and painful that someone has posted the movie Janyayan on the internet. Film organizations should raise their voice against this and the government should find the perpetrators and give them severe punishment. Such crimes should not continue’.

Kamal tweeted, ‘The leak of Jananayagan is not an accident – it is the result of systemic failure. Had due process been timely, we would not be here. Inordinate delays in certification created fertile ground for piracy. When legal access is stalled, illegitimate channels take over. Piracy is beyond politics; it is an attack on the art and artist itself. It endangers the work of hundreds of artists and technicians, and the investments of honest tax paying producers, exhibitors and theatre owners, all who sustain the cinema we love. Who protects the creator when the system fails? We need accountability, swift certification, strict enforcement, and real-time takedowns. I trust true lovers of cinema will unite and give a befitting response by watching the film legally in theatres, as you stood with me in the past’

Director Pa.Ranjith stressed that, ‘The leak of #Jananayagan is truly upsetting and absolutely unacceptable. It’s heartbreaking for everyone involved in the film. Those responsible need to be identified and held accountable without delay’

Actor, director Pradeep Ranganathan tweeted ‘Heartbreaking. Let’s not share leaked contents .Lets not get joy out of others pain’

Venkat Prabhu, director of Vijay’s last film GOAT tweeted ‘Leaking #Jananayagan before its official release is not just piracy, it is disrespect to the hard work of producers, hundreds of artists and technicians who gave their blood and sweat for this film. Cinema should be experienced the way it is meant to be on the big screen. The person (s) behind this leak should be severely punished.. Nothing can stop our #Thalapathy as I said earlier jananayagan will be the greatest farewell of all time..’

Karthi also supported by tweeting, ‘JanaNayagan being leaked has hurt an entire industry. This act is unfair, unethical and condemnable. I appeal to our audience to stand with the team and uphold the spirit of cinema by watching it the right way.’

Vijay’s counterpart Suriya has tweeted ‘Heartbreaking and unfair — an entire team’s passion reduced to this. I request you all with honesty, please don’t watch, share, or discuss the film here. Respect their work. I stand with my friends and condemn the act, it’s unforgivable! #JanaNayagan’

RJ Balaji’s tweet was, ‘Jananayagan leaked online is shocking and heartbreaking. Can’t imagine the state of people who are involved in making the film. Sad. Scary. This is bad in so many levels. May God be with the team’

Vishal had tweeted, ‘Dear vijay. It is truly disheartening to see the leaked videos of your/our film jananayagan. So much of effort and dedication and work being thrown down the drain. As your fan for the last two decades. Hav been watching your movies at theatres and enjoying every bit of whistling away to my favourite hero / actor / performer. Wish we could do the same even now even though if it’s destined to be confined to four walls in our home theatres if the movie is released on OTT and satellite. The only difference will be whistling in our homes to our favourite ACTOR. I know it’s a very tough financial and crucial decision by the production house. But as a fan wanted to express. Hope the movie hits the theatres soon. I don’t think it is so controversial but then the respected censor board hav their own reasons. Hoping we all get to see your film soon legitimately. God bless’

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has tweeted, ‘The unfortunate leak of #Jananayagan is something that deeply concerns me. Cinema is built on trust, effort, and the collective dreams of many. Such incidents affect all of us in the industry and remind us how crucial it is to protect our creative work. We stand one with KVN Productions in containing the damage and punishing the culprits. Let us all extend our support to respect and protect CINEMA! Kill Piracy. Save Cinema.’

Sivakarthikeyan’s tweet was, ‘Every film is made with the passion, blood and sweat of hundreds of people – please avoid piracy. Kindly wait for the theatrical release and watch it in theatres. Whoever is responsible for this must face strict action. Respect the talents. Respect the hard work. Respect the industry.’
